LEGO have just released details on their upcoming River Steamboat Ideas set.

Paying homage to tbe original classic steamboats that used to navigate the American waterways.

Sporting 4090 peices this is a large set for the ideas range but at £289.99 it represents pretty good value for money and appears aimed at the adult builder.

With intricate details such as the old authentic looking paddle wheel and twin smoke stacks the exterior does a great job at replicating the 19th century look.

Moving inside we see a boiler deck, main deck with music stage and Texas deck housijg the crew. The decks are built and designed to allow easy dissasembly to gain individual access to each.

This great set releases on 10th April with LEGO insiders gaining access on 7th, LEGO are currently offering a free gift with purchase of the Amelia Ticket Booth, a little treat inkeeping with the 19th century theme.
